I don't speak or write Polish, but I hope you can understand. I am using a translator to help. I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. My father Alexander was born either in or near Stryjowka. Maybe Maksymówka- we are not sure. But, he was illegitimate born to Marja Badach who lived with her family in house number 13 with her parents Szymon and Aniela Badach (Wojcicki), and her grand parents, John and Julia Badach (Robak). Marja eventually married Peter Sokol - my father then took his last name and became Alexander Sokol, before they immigrated to Canada in 1929. I was so touched with what you have done to save the memories for the loved ones in the graves at Stryjowka. I saw some familiar names, including Peter's father's grave - Szymon Sokol. Do you have a directory that indicates the names of all the graves there? Some are difficult to read in the pictures. I would like to find more from the Badach's, Sokol's or the Lukaciewicz's for my family. My father Alexander passed away in 2018. He spoke of his homeland often. And finding this site, and the work you have done, would have touched his soul. Peter was not a kind man to Alex or Marja, but we are so proud and grateful for the man my father became, despite the hardships of his boyhood. Thank you again for all the work you have done. I'm sure, like mine, many families will be touched to know how you have brought back grace to Stryjowka. Blessings to you all.
